International Summer School 2010
in Economics of Art and Culture

Come study at Amsterdam University College within the vibrant, culturally rich and creative surrounds of its great city. Where can you better experience the power of creativity and the dynamic interaction between the economy and culture?

Find yourself in the company of interesting and curious students, artists, cultural practitioners and entrepreneurs. Experience a unique method of teaching. Mingle with an internationally-recognized faculty.

Our 2009 summer school hosted fifteen participants from ten countries and a diversity of institutions. Instructors were from Japan, Italy, Bulgaria, Belgium and the Netherlands.

What is special about this program is the unique combination of faculty and participants whose knowledge and experiences are shared within a personal context and an informal atmosphere. Students will experience moments of discovery and creativeness during lectures, seminars, and workshops. Field trips include visits to cultural sites in the Netherlands.
