In visiting several places in the Chicago area, Dean Arjo Klamer found serious interest in the Study Abroad Program. Students are attracted by the focus on European topics, the location, quality, and reasonable financial conditions (despite the low value of the dollar). Academia Vitae is in discussion with Roosevelt University and Bard College for further collaboration.

Roosevelt University, Chicago
Roosevelt University (Chicago) and Academia Vitae have signed a memorandum of understanding. Beginning September 2009 and continuing annually, a Roosevelt University professor and student group will take part in the Semester Abroad program at Academia Vitae University College. Something all Roosevelt students know: The Roosevelt University foyer (below) was the setting for the confrontation between Al Capone (Robert DeNiro) and Elliot Ness (Kevin Costner) in The Untouchables (1987). |
Bard College, New York
At right, the view of the Hudson River from the Rose Garden at Bard’s Blithewood mansion. Bard — an elite American liberal arts college in New York — and Academia Vitae have agreed to exchange course credits. Great news for those wanting to study abroad or continue their Academia Vitae undergraduate education in the United States.
